My family and I had a repast there, celebrating the life of my mother in law, Lula Macklin. Everything was simply beautiful, from the hospitality to the food. God Bless you all for your service.

I attended a wedding and it was beautiful. The decor is class personified. The elegance of the place can be seen before from the street as you drive by. The attention to the wants and desires of the guests was outstanding. The food along with the staff who prepared and served was on par to any 5 star venue I have attended in any state for any occasion. I was pleased and impressed.

It was a great place to visit. My wife childhood friend renewed her marriage vows here. The place looked like Windsor Palace inside.The bathrooms had marble walls and floors. Gold sink handles and large bathroom stalls. The multiple large rooms for events and an excellent staff that handled our every need. We did not have to do anything but enjoy the wedding and reception. I recommend this venue to any one who wants the star treat but be prepared to go deep in the wallet.

Very nice event hall! The lunch was very good, but didn't like the appetizers at all, had to throw them away. Fruit was great, plenty of parking and lovely decor. This was a company event.

It’s time for an upgrade. This place was beautiful in its splendor. The table cloths are stained and dingy, the chandeliers are old. It looks like a relic. The food was average.

My Howard University Sports Hall of Fame induction was held there. It was a venue worthy of the event! Food was excellent!!

As a wedding planner, we've done two weddings here and this is our favorite venue by Martin's! The chef here is great and they do a great job making jollof (both weddings that we planned here were West African - one Nigerian and one Cameroonian). They venue also provides a great canvas to design an elegant wedding on. We definitely recommend this venue!

There was a wedding and a crab feast. I partook in the crab feast. However, neither one of our parties interrupted the other. The scenery is nice as well.

Open My Heart Foundation Red Dress Gala. It was truly amazing and the staff at Martin's is phenomenal with impecable customer service. Thank you so much. Everyone should have a Martin experience like we DID!!!

Very nice place to hold events. Plenty of free parking for guests, clean, and well maintained.

My husband and I, my cousins and two friends attended 2019/2020 Martins Crosswinds New Year's Eve party and had a wonderful time. It was worth the $85 per person. The food and service was excellent, the drinks were on point and the DJ did his thing! We stayed on the dance floor! Martins out did themselves!

I was here for a friend's graduation party.Soon as I entered the building, I was greeted and given directions to my location.The food was good; however, I wish that the staff hadn't put everything away so early. Overall, the staff was excellent and I would not mind hosting a future event at this location.

Food was delicious. Stuffed hen, seafood newburg, meatballs, salad bar and desserts. Didn't like setup, wasn't presented well. I need to feed the free liquor. Round tables sat 12. Table servers weren't attentive to our needs, such as request for water refill. Bartenders are slow but friendly. When liquor is free they don't want to move too fast. Food closed early than ticket advertised. Music was Go Go, old school. I danced quite a bit. Nice atmosphere for partying. Will go back.

Place is beautiful! I can't wait to have my wedding there! Oh and there food is spectacular! Sales persons are professional and friendly.

I had the pleasure of serving as the event coordinator for a retirement party hosted at Martin's Crosswinds in February. We had the pleasure of preparing and planning for the event with Kristen Cooley and on the evening of the party, George Floria served as our banquet manager. Only one word comes to mind...OUTSTANDING. The entire Martin's team provided exceptional customer service. We had several speakers arrive late so we had to make last minute adjustments to our event timeline which included the change of timing for the dinner service. Within 5 minutes of notifying George that I needed to make adjustments, the first table was being called to the buffet line. When you combine stellar service and catering it makes for an outstanding experience for all guests. I can't wait to work with the Martin's team again. THANK YOU!!!

The venue is beautiful, and the staff and food is impeccable. The administration GM ( Nick) , staff Managers Joe and Evan are professional and very efficient in planning and executing once in a lifetime experiences for the clients. Thank you Martin’s for your continued great service to the State of Maryland for decades.

This is a place to host your event. This event is done every year and the service is good. I really like the chicken salad, seafood salad, frozen drinks, and desserts. The crabs are not that meaty but they will do.

This place was really nice!! I went here for an in-laws church anniversary celebration. The food was wonderful. The crab cakes were delicious and so were mashed potatoes and the mozzarella&tomato salad!! Great food!!

Heard a lot of great things about Martin's and decided to check it myself. I was blown away with the customer service and thoroughly impressed with the venue overall. My fiancé and I thought so highly of this location that we decided to perform our nuptials here towards the end of the year!!

The venue was beautiful, but I wanted to put an emphasis on the hot chocolate. Fana made perhaps the best hot chocolate I have had, if you are lucky enough to have her, do take the hot chocolate with the Hazelnut syrup.

IBC had their annual Crab Feast the food and crabs was good.

Venue is old and dated rooms look awful food is horrible I couldn’t even eat it worse than a TV dinner. They ran behind schedule the whole time and seemed confused on what they were suppose to be doing. I wouldn’t recommend this place for anything!

There were several events ongoing with this traditional Nigerian wedding; everything was beautiful. Food and drinks were plentiful and flavorful. Disappointed no jollof rice or curry but food good.

I was coordinating a wedding there and they were fantastic to work with. Beautiful venue for a ballroom wedding/reception. Alease was our event manager and she was amazing, she was on top of everything and sometimes she was even one step ahead of me. I was highly impressed. The food was also some of the best catering food I've had and trust me I've had a lot. My only critique is that the venue will host multiple events in a day in adjacent ballrooms so not only did we have to share the lobby and bathrooms with another set of guests, we had to listen to the toasts with the not-so-distant thumping of music from a reception in full swing next door. As long as you don't mind a little bit of sharing, it is overall a great venue and I highly recommend them. Be sure to ask for Alease!
